The little house at the Politeama, cozy and quiet. Ideal for visiting Palermo

A two-room apartment located in a building with an elevator, concierge service, and video surveillance. The apartment is equipped with every comfort and is a 3-minute walk from the Politeama Theater in Piazza Castelnuovo, a 6-minute walk from the Massimo Theater, and a 15-minute walk from the Cathedral. We are outside the restricted traffic zone (ZTL); you can park right outside the building in the blue-line parking spaces (1 euro per hour) or at two parking lots a 5-minute walk and a 15-minute walk away.
The bus stop (Prestia and Comandè bus companies) connecting the city center to the airport is a 5-minute walk from the house.
We’re in a quiet, well-frequented area with plenty of clubs, restaurants, bars, and supermarkets (100 meters away).
La Casetta al Politeama was renovated in 2021. Thanks to its location on a quiet street, it’s always very peaceful. In the living room-kitchen area, you’ll find carefully selected decor and retro furniture that I’ve personally restored in a modern style.
In the kitchen, you’ll find a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, a microwave, an induction cooktop, an oven, and kitchen utensils.
The living area features a flat-screen TV, a comfortable sofa bed, and a dining table. The bedroom is very bright and spacious, with a large, spacious, and convenient built-in closet.
The house features a comfortable bathroom with a window, a shower stall, and a toilet (the washing machine is not available for guest use); a small closet for storing your luggage, and a covered balcony.
Air conditioning and heating are available throughout the property, except on the outdoor veranda.
Guest Access: At check-in, the identification documents of all guests staying at the property will be requested and recorded.
You will be provided with a set of keys to the apartment (only one set of keys will be provided to guests).
Finally, you will be required to sign a short-term rental agreement for tourist use, as required by Italian law regarding short-term tourist rentals.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
-Arrivals scheduled after 8:00 p.m. must be requested at the time of booking and may incur an additional fee;
- The electrical system is centralized and can only be activated with a key inserted into the house key ring.
- Sheet and towel changes are not provided.
- The washing machine is not available for guest use, but buckets and soap for hand-washing are provided; for stays longer than 10 days, the washing machine may be made available.
- Central heating will be turned on from December through March, for a maximum of 8 hours per day, in accordance with the law;
- The air conditioner remote controls are set to a minimum temperature of 23 degrees and a maximum of 28 degrees;
- Smoking is not permitted anywhere in the house (including the veranda);
- The building has a recycling program; you’ll find the schedule and the appropriate bins in the kitchen to ensure proper waste disposal.
Please leave the kitchen and the apartment tidy at check-out.

Long-term stays:
Stays longer than 29 days are available upon request. For this type of long-term stay exceeding 29 days, a lease agreement must be registered with the tax agency (as required by Italian law).
