NO SMOKING Please note: The property has a natural spring water supply from a borehole, lovely drinking water. Coed Y Ddraig has been renovated to a high standard and is full of character and quirkiness. Drive through the tall electric wooden gates, and this property has all sorts of surprises for you! Access all areas of Coed Y Ddraig. We will be there on the initial meeting to hand over keys and show guests the property and to receive the keys back. During their stay we will be around if they need us, as we live in the property next door. But they won't see us. Rural, tranquil getaway The market town of Tregaron is just 4 miles from the property, where you will be able to eat at the Michelin star Talbot Hotel or shop at the Rhiannon Welsh Gold Centre. Tregaron is also famous for Cors Caron Nature Reserve, where you can take several different walks or drive up to the Tywi Forest. National Trust sites Dolaucothi gold mines and Llanerchaeron are with easy reach, and a 20-minute drive will bring you to the stunning Ceredigion coastline with its coastal path. Pretty seaside towns like Aberaeron are famous for their honey ice cream or New Quay, a seaside town full of different coastal activities, including dolphin watching boat trips. Also worth a visit is the seaside town of Aberystwyth with pier and long promenade and cliff railway, so you have the best of both worlds at your fingertips. Just 7 miles away is the charming market town of Lampeter, rich with Welsh culture and offering a collection of traditional Welsh pubs, tasteful restaurants, and elegant gift shops. For the bookworm there is a fully stocked library with reclining sofa. Through this room leads onto a south-facing private terrace area overlooking the valley on the side of the Cambrian mountain. This is a superb area for relaxing in the sun and watching the sunset; and the perfect spot for watching the kites and buzzards feeding! To the rear of the property is a patio area with garden bench and table; the garden leads straight out into woodland, look for the sword in the stone, and some fabulous sights to see from the top of the woods and stunning sunsets over the Aeron Valley. You can watch the Milky Way and other major constellations, nebulas, and shooting stars on a clear night with zero light pollution.
