As you arrive, the wide entrance invites you to kick off your shoes, hang your coats, and settle in like it's your own. Step into the heart of the house, where social spaces steal the show. On one side, a cosy, homely lounge with soft sofas, warm lighting, and a wood burner is perfect for movie nights. On the other side, a dining room with a long table sets the scene for shared meals. The charming, traditional kitchen flows easily from here, with a breakfast bar for leisurely morning coffees and space to cook, and there’s a beautiful piano in here too. Upstairs, four inviting bedrooms blend classic style with pops of colour, including a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, two well-appointed doubles and a handy twin bedroom. Climb to the second floor, and a secret loft awaits with a fun-packed games room and an additional double bedroom with an en-suite. Each day, guests are awoken to picturesque views and a sprawling garden where they can fully spread out and immerse themselves in the glorious Welsh countryside.
There's so much to see and do when you stay at this stunning group cottage. Marvel at the legendary Three Bridges in Devil's Bridge Falls (12 miles) and ride the steam train through the valley for an authentic taste of Welsh adventure. Explore Bwlch Nant yr Arian Forest (14 miles), where red kites soar overhead, and family-friendly trails wind through the trees, with play areas and picnic spots to enjoy along the way. Pack up a picnic and head to the Ceredigion coast for sandy beach days in Aberystwyth (13 miles), complete with ice creams, arcades and the cliff railway. Remember to take in the amazing views across Cardigan Bay from the peak of Aberystwyth Castle.
