Design home with sauna and spa in central Helsinki

The apartment was spacious, quiet and comfortable with all the amenities you could want. It was in a great location, only a block away from Kamppi, one of the largest shopping centers in Helsinki, with close access to the metro, train station and city centre too. The advertised lift was also helpful, allowing us to avoid the stairs, especially with our bags, and we had good communication with the host.

We didn't appreciate having to squeegee the shower every time it was used due to the water that would build up, and spill out if it wasn't dealt with before opening the door. Also, the front windows not having any covering due to an issue with the electric curtains was not ideal, so its a good thing the owner is planning to install manual blinds.

The facilities available are amazing and multiple options, wish I stayed longer to make sue of everything full.

Bedroom next to front door could use an Air-conditioner, it was significantly warmer in the room even with all windows and doors open. The noise from outside due to needing windows open made it hard to sleep.

This was my first time visiting Helsinki, and I booked this place with friends who travel frequently around the world to attend the Helsinki Festival. When we first arrived, the door entry code didn’t work, but we were able to contact the host right away, so it wasn’t a major issue. The accommodation was just as clean, comfortable, and convenient as shown in the photos. The sauna and hot tub were absolutely perfect and gave us a wonderful chance to experience a little bit of Finland. Both were in excellent condition and worked perfectly, so we really enjoyed using the sauna together. Overall, the place was very clean, and we were especially happy with the kitchen facilities, which had everything we needed. If I visit Helsinki again, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

There was nothing we didn’t like, everything was perfect. The only thing that felt a little unusual at first was that we had to push the elevator door open manually, which was slightly intimidating, but we quickly got used to it. This is not a problem with the property at all.
