The location is almost opposite the Grassroof farmstall entrance & so was ideal for us who were there to cycle on the regular cycling route & to enjoy nearby (3 minutes by car) Sardinia Bay & Schenomakerskop (10 minutes by car). The view was of the paddocks slightly below the unit & of the hills, very pleasant. There were plenty of birds to view & also turkeys & chickens & the two horses. Very quiet at night.
The path leading up to the unit can be improved to assist the frail & the elderly. The entrance to the rental unit could be made clearer as it looks identical to the owners' own private entrance & Google Maps sent us to the wrong entrance. The owners are busy rectifying this.
