This spacious Jamaica Beach retreat boasts 4 bedrooms and a large deck with stunning canal views. Imagine waking up to sounds of the ocean, stepping outside, and breathing the fresh air as the sun paints the sky. Just a 2-minute drive away, the beautiful beach awaits with its soft, golden sand and sparkling waves. Whether you`re grilling on the deck, casting a line off the canal dock, or relaxing with a book by the water`s edge, The Sunriser offers the perfect blend of relaxation and fun.

● Beach access: Just a two minute drive from the Jamaica Beach access point. Cars and golf carts are allowed to park on the beach.
● Community Amenities: Guests have access to the Jamaica Beach community pool (open Memorial Day thru Labor Day - $5 per person) and city park.
● Rent BeachBox: Beach gear rentals are available! Ask us for details and rates.
● WIFI/Cable: We provide free high-speed WIFI and Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own streaming service apps.

Sleeping arrangements are flexible for a good night`s rest. Three bedrooms on the main floor offer a variety of options. One room has a king-size bed, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. Another room features a queen bed and a full-over-full bunk bed, ideal for families with younger kids. The third bedroom also caters to families with a queen bed and a twin bunk bed. A shared bathroom conveniently services these bedrooms.
Downstairs, a bonus room offers extra space for fun and relaxation. This versatile space can be a game room for rainy day entertainment or a sleeping area with a queen bed and a full-over-full bunk bed. An additional bathroom on this level provides added convenience.
Step outside and embrace the beauty of canalfront living. Elegant French doors off the living room lead to a spacious deck, perfect for enjoying meals under the sun while taking in the scenic canal views. There`s even ample space for sunbathing. The outdoor fun continues underneath the house where you`ll find a covered patio area with a table for casual meals, providing a shaded escape on hot days. Enjoy the gentle breeze and sway gently on the charming bench swing, all within earshot of the calming sounds of the water.
● Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.
● Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.
● Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

- Guests must be 24+ to book the property.
- One-night stays must be approved.
- Groups larger than 12 need to be approved. We do not allow parties.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after in the yard, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- No parking allowed on lawns, yards, empty grass lots or other neighbors’ driveways, even if their home appears unoccupied.
- Oversized vehicles/trailers are not permitted unless explicit approval has been received from our team.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- No jumping or diving into the water. Children must be supervised at all times.
- This community only allows BLACK TRASH BAGS. We provide trash bags under the kitchen sink. Please refrain from using white bags.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

The house is big and clean. Love that it's right on the canal with a dock and outdoor shower. The ladder into the canal was very helpful. There was plenty of parking and amenities. Highly recommend this house--perfect for a family reunion!

We just went for a quick getaway and it was just as the doctor ordered. This place is beautiful and diverse. The host provided all the necessary details and more (like info on Galveston island). We slept comfortably and the community was quiet. Although there was a storm that rolled through, the house didn't shake or feel like it was swaying like I have experienced in other rentals. The host was wonderful from front to end so I will definitely stay here again!

We did enjoy our stay overall, especially the location—the water view in the back was really lovely and a highlight.However, the listing photos don’t feel like an accurate representation of the home’s current condition. There were several maintenance and detail issues that added up.Outside, the dock area could use attention. The old swing was left on the ground, and broken boat straps were wrapped around the wood or hanging loose. The green fishing light on the dock was also not working, which made fishing difficult, especially for kids.Downstairs, the listing mentioned two arcade games, but there was only one. The bed is placed directly next to a window, and I hit my head on the trim the first night. The plumbing downstairs is described as “sensitive,” but the toilet does not refill quickly enough for a courtesy flush.Upstairs, the kitchen chairs did not match the listing photos. The floor in front of the patio door is worn and dips when stepped on. The refrigerator has visible rust spots, and the main front burner on the stove did not work. The Roku remote was also difficult to use, and some streaming apps were not accessible or appeared logged into multiple accounts.Individually these may seem small, but together they impacted the experience. With some maintenance and updates, this property could better match expectations.
