This bungalow has been completely remodeled and features a kitchen with granite countertops, fridge, microwave, stove/oven, living room with twin pull-out sleeper sofa bed, twin convertible couch/bed private bedroom with King size bed and bathroom with shower/tub unit. Great covered front porch. Located close to many great state parks such as Elephant Rocks (5 miles), Johnson Shut In's and Taum Sauk Mountain state park (highest point in Missouri). Also enjoy the Arcadia Academy within walking distance to which you will find Thee Abbey Kitchen restaurant, a bakery, homemade Ice Cream Shoppe, candies/gifts and much more to explore!

We stayed in Bungelow #4 and everything was perfect. We were even impressed by how comfortable the bed is. Plenty of linens and extra pillows. Kitchen stocked. Everything was clean and I am super picky about what I think clean is. I loved drinking my coffee on the front porch. Husband was skeptical about staying here but I didn’t hear one complaint during our stay. We liked being able to park right by the door for easy loading and unloading. We will be back.

As soon as we walked through the door it felt like a home away from home! The property had everything we needed for a fun & relaxing time. The beds were very comfortable. Be sure to bring marshmallows so you can enjoy the outdoor firepit! Definitely look forward to staying here again the next time we venture out to Elephant Rock and Johnson Shut Ins!
