About this house rental
Step outside, and you’re just minutes from Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, and all the local wineries, breweries, and shops that give the area its charm.
The Robin’s nest is a thoughtfully curated and updated Home. Originally designed as a private getaway for the owning family, this unique home is now available for others to enjoy as well.
Originally built in 1984 and lovingly renovated in 2024 many of the vintage qualities of this home have been left intact. The owners quirky sense of style and love of color is obvious throughout. The space is decorated and furnished with comfort and style in mind.
The wood burning stove in the main living area is the literal heart of the home in the winter months. Firewood is not provided as part of your rental fee. Please plan to pick some up in town on your way in. Do keep in mind that when fires are burning, this unit gets extremely hot and should not be touched by bare or little hands. Nor should any items be sat upon the fireplace with active fire burning. There is a grate to cover the front that should be installed anytime the main doors are left open.
The front deck was built to capitalize on the expansive wildlife that visits the neighbors pond. Please enjoy your morning coffee out here soaking up the sounds and sites of nature.
From the kitchen window you’ll enjoy another view of a much larger pond that gets deer and other wildlife visiting throughout the year.
Please note that many properties in this area are not fenced in. As such, neighboring animals such as dogs, cats, and other critters do make occasional visits on the property. Mostly this will happen in the evenings, but please don’t be startled by them. Do not expect any of these animals to be warm and friendly, a simple “SHOO!” will usually send them on their way.
Please utilize the entire home. The basement is under renovations and that space is currently unavailable. We appreciate your patience while we redo this additional space for your future stays.
The outbuildings are not available to guests.
