During your stay, indulge in the cozy interior and explore the exterior delights. The covered deck invites you to relax in a spa tub, watch TV, or savor a grilled dinner, followed by the ultimate s’mores experience at our fire pit with the enchanting creek nearby. Welcome to the “wasp season” November to December and early spring! During chilly nights and early mornings, followed by warm days, wasp tend to gather on rooftops in search of warmth. While it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a wasp nest in the house, they are essentially in hibernation mode, seeking cozy spots.
Please note that Broken Bow/Hochatown is a rural area and while our cabins have fast internet, outages may occur. We cannot guarantee your internet service. Since we are located in a forested area and in a tropical climate zone, it is possible, but not likely, to see snakes, lizards, mice and other wild animals as well as all kinds of bugs, including, but not limited to, ants, honey bees, bugs, roaches etc on the property.
Lastly, please note that this is a forested area, and the Oklahoma Forestry Service enforces a burning ban during some periods. Please check the current burn ban during status online before using the outdoor fire pit to avoid fines upward of $1000.
