This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Excellent communication with host. Unit was as described. Convenient location for attractions in downtown/ historic Charleston Comfortable seating in living room and very large porch. It wasn't an issue for our group - but please note that there are stairs (two flights) up to the unit and to the 2nd floor bedroom.

The location of the apartment is walking distance to the French Quarter, King Street and the waterfront - lots of shopping, restaurants and bars. The property was very clean and comfortable. One stand out feature is the porch. What a wonderful place to have coffee, read or hang out. The beds were comfortable. We appreciated that toiletries and coffee pods were provided. The filtered water pitcher in the fridge was wonderful for a cold drink after walking around. Note: To access the property, you need to go up the equivalent of two flights of stairs. It was not an issue for us, but it is something to consider if you have mobility restrictions. Great location and comfortable stay.

Clean, great location. Liked how we didn't have to park on the street, instead there was a parking lot in the back of the building.

Farther from town for walking access than expected but Ubers were plentiful. Vintage furniture was hard to use.Beds were comfortable and kitchen was adequately appointed.Porch was large and pleasant but railings were dirty and cushions were dusty. No coffee pods available as indicated and there were used coffee grounds left in the coffee maker’s carafe. The apartment is not level. Things roll off surfaces. Good to have a parking space in back. Not recommended for anyone who has trouble navigating a narrow metal 2 story entry staircase.
