Just fifteen minutes from Snowshoe Mountain Resort, it offers sweeping mountain views, a gentle creek, and the stillness of nature. Whether soaking in the hot tub beneath a starry sky, unwinding in the cedar sauna, or sipping coffee by the fire, every moment here feels peaceful and restorative.
The Space
With three spacious bedrooms, a sleeping loft, and three and a half bathrooms, the lodge comfortably hosts up to 10 guests. The main living area features vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and wide windows framing mountain views. A stone fireplace adds warmth and atmosphere, perfect for long conversations and quiet nights in. The kitchen includes up to date appliances, counter/bar top space, a long 8 person dining table, and thoughtful touches like local coffee and tea. Upstairs, the open loft offers a cozy nook for reading or relaxation. Every bedroom is designed for rest, with soft linens and mountain-inspired décor that feels both refined and comfortable.
Entertainment & Relaxation
Amenities include a private hot tub, sauna, game room, and multiple fireplaces/fire pits. The lower level features a full-size pool table and lounge area that opens to the front yard. Outside, the wraparound deck overlooks the valley and nearby slopes, offering the perfect spot for sunrise views and a morning coffee, or evening drinks. The hot tub and sauna provide a spa-like retreat after a day on the trails or slopes. When flowing, the nearby creek adds a calm, steady rhythm to the landscape.

Just a short drive from Snowshoe Mountain Resort, the lodge is perfectly positioned for four-season adventure. Enjoy skiing and snowboarding in winter, or explore hiking trails, waterfalls, and scenic drives in summer and fall. The home sits in a quiet enclave that feels secluded yet remains close to the restaurants, shops, and live music of Snowshoe Village.
Mountain Access
Part of the charm of this mountain retreat is the drive itself. Guests have full access to the home and property, including parking for 3 to 4 cars beside the lodge and space for 3 more near the driveway entrance. The lodge sits a little over a mile up a well-maintained gravel road that winds through the woods and opens to sweeping ridge views at the top. The road is plowed regularly during winter, especially before and during guest stays. Because conditions can change quickly in the mountains, four-wheel drive is required in snowy months and we strongly recommend bringing tire chains for added traction. The drive up feels like an adventure, and once you arrive, the peace, views, and privacy make it more than worth the climb.
Other Things to Note
While Snowshoe offers all the comforts of a resort town, the area itself is remote, which is part of its beauty. Expect to lose cell service about an hour before arrival, and save or print check-in details and WiFi information ahead of time. Once at the lodge, WiFi is provided, and cell coverage varies by carrier. Snowshoe Village offers reliable connectivity if needed. We had a great stay. The house is beautiful in person and the photos don’t capture the true size and beauty of the interior and just how warm and inviting it really is. The property is quiet and well kept, which made the trip feel even more relaxing. We arrived to a beautifully lit Christmas tree, which was such a sweet surprise and set the tone for the week. The host was easy to reach and checked in to make sure we were all set. The location is gorgeous and made our Thanksgiving week feel special. We’d definitely recommend this place.
