    Ate Maris is an excellent host. She is very approachable and easy to contact. The location was great as it is just beside the market, convenience stores, cafes, etc. The place has no wifi since early 2026, so I hoped they just update the listing here because I booked the place for wifi since my wifi at home needs to change modems. Upon arriving, host said there is no wifi. It was also hard to sleep because there’s this noise every 4-5 hours that was really loud and can be heard for the entire floor. TV is an android TV, barely used it because it relies on internet which they don’t have. Extra linen necessities have payments, bed sheet is very thin. I recommend this as a place to just stay at, but for students who needs internet and quiet, this isn’t the place for you.

    I recently stayed at UrbanView @ Mherylle's Apartment and found it to be a practical choice for anyone needing proximity to the University of Santo Tomas area. Pros: The location is excellent if you have business or academic commitments near UST. The staff are frequently highlighted as being very accommodating and friendly, which makes the check-in process much smoother. The rooms are generally clean, well-lit, and functional, with enough power outlets and reliable basic amenities for a short stay. Cons: As a budget-friendly 1-star accommodation, it is a no-frills experience. It’s best to keep expectations realistic regarding room size and sound insulation. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable option if you are prioritizing convenience and location in the heart of Sampaloc. I would definitely consider booking here again for future quick trips.
