Aiueo no Mori - Vacation STAY 79153v

This is set on an excellent property in Yamashiro Onsen, we stayed here, passing through for one night prior to our participation in the UTMB Trail Running event. The grounds are awesome, there’s a nice nature walk up to the top of the hill, and it’s easy to walk to nearby Onsen locations. We can see this being a great short stay option for weekends. It’s clean, comfy, the toilet and shower were good size for the small house, and the beds were comfortable. It’s peaceful, minimal and a solid option. The staff were friendly and kind and we had no issues. We had 3.5 weeks worth of luggage-packed suitcases, so it is a little small for putting those anywhere, but it’s less of an international tourist feeling spot and more of a local-weekend, friendly, or shorter stay. There’s lots to see nearby (especially Natadera Temple!)

Nothing really - it’s a tiny house, it’s cute. If you have lots of luggage it might be a little cramped. But otherwise it’s a cool experience.
