Palms Resort 905- Oceanfront

Cleanliness. Balcony with good view of the ocean. Fast elevators.

Unfortunately the beach was being refurbished. The furniture could use updating.

THE EMAIL FOR HOW TO GET IN THE UNIT ARRIVED THREE HOURS AFTER I CALLED TO FIND OUT HOW TO GET IN! That was disappointing. There were four types of locks on the door when we arrived. No mention of which one to use. The lady on the phone was very helpful and everything went smoothly after we knew which lock to access! I would suggest sending which lock to access and how it works the night prior to arrival via phone. There is nobody to check people in here or to ask questions. Really liked the unit itself! It is nicely furnished, decorated and very clean and comfortable! We loved the view and the chairs to sit on the balcony, too! The puzzles are quite challenging, but a fun brain workout! Would like to suggest that one towel set per person for five nights is not enough. We never located the laundry unit! Checkout instructions say to run dishwasher, for which tabs were provided, but there is no dishwasher in the unit! We noticed that the sliding mirror door seems off track and several light bulbs need replacing, nothing major, but want you to know. All in all, we would recommend this unit for two people, as it is quiet and very pleasant! Nice getaway! Thank you! THERE WAS NO BREAKFAST.

I loved the no check in policy. You could just go straight to the room. The location was perfect.

Everything was great

The location, cleanliness, and just incredible care from the host was absolutely exceptional. Great first experience in Myrtle Beach. Will definitely make an effort to stay at the Palms again.
