The location in Vila Nova de Gaia is good, right across from the shopping center, where there is also a supermarket. Even with the construction works, we were able to reach the main points of interest in Vila Nova de Gaia and Porto relatively quickly by car. The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and quiet, even though it is in a busy area because of the shopping center. It is equipped for slightly longer stays.
We missed having more items to help us keep the apartment clean — such as trash bags, a bathroom bin, cleaning cloths, laundry detergent pods, etc. We have stayed in places that provide these items, and it makes a significant difference for longer stays. Also, the apartment was generally clean, but it could have been slightly better; e.g. we found hair around the apartment and used shampoo bottles in the bathroom.
