Wake up to ocean views and sunrises in this two year new, custom-built 6-bedroom sanctuary on Bald Head Island. Designed with a reverse floor plan to maximize coastal panoramas. This home feels like a designer showcase—every detail curated with premium finishes, coastal charm, and effortless elegance. Exclusive access to BOTH the BHI and Shoals Clubs.
Six spacious bedrooms are available, with five in the main house and one versatile room featuring a daybed and trundle, perfect for use as a den, lounge, video games, or an additional sleeping area. A private crofter suite with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom is located adjacent to the house. The main home boasts two luxurious primary suites with king beds and en-suite bathrooms, one on the main living level and one on the entry level for easy access. The second floor features an open-concept living area and a large, comfortable deck with seating, a table, and lounge chairs. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, a gas cooktop, and quartz countertops, complemented by a wet bar framed by shiplap and bead board accent walls. Throughout the home, modern baths feature floor-to-ceiling tile and stone, frameless glass shower doors, and quartz vanities.

All membership fees are an additional expense paid directly to the clubs and are not part of your rental payment. BHI Club guest pass holders may book tee times up to 21 days in advance (greens fees & cart fees apply). Afternoon tee times are generally standard for guest play.
Getting Here
Reach the island by ferry from Southport, NC — that peaceful ride sets the tone for the slower rhythm waiting ahead. Once here, cars stay on the mainland, and everything moves at golf-cart pace.
Weekly rentals run Saturday – Saturday from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Check-in 4 PM | Check-out 10 AM.
Fixin’ to Chill is furnished to the last detail — just bring your flip-flops, your favorite folks, and get ready to slow down the Carolina way.

A welcoming beautiful home that was prefect to create treasured family moments on the island. It is wonderful that it is stocked with everything needed in the kitchen, at the beach or on a rainy afternoon and for all ages from toddlers to adults. We are already looking forward to future visits!

Absolutely AMAZING! This house was perfect for my family and friends. The owners thought of everything - umbrellas, turtlebox for music, chairs, etc. and were very responsive throughout our entire process. We will be back!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Fixin' to Chill! The location is unbeatable- just steps from the beach and about 5 minutes to the shops! The house is very clean, well kept, and fully stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need or want, making it feel like a true home away from home. The garage apartment was a fantastic feature, offering extra privacy and space for our group! Jeff was incredibly responsive and friendly, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better spot for a family getaway. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay on Bald Head Island.
