About this house rental
Our newly remodeled farmhouse sits on a two-acre property at the end of a country road in Signal Mountain, just 30 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. The very large great room is perfect for gathering together as a family or with a group of friends. The farmhouse is set up for six guests. Three beautifully appointed bedrooms each accommodate two guests, either in a king bed or split apart as two twin beds. The bedding is prepared in Scandinavian style with soft duvets which makes for very comfortable sleeping!
There are two bathrooms. The primary bedroom has a bathroom en suite with two showers fitted with brass fixtures from Marakesh, Morocco! The family bathroom has a shower over a tub and a washer and dryer.
The kitchen is very well equipped with classic-style fridge and gas stove. There is a microwave, coffee machine with coffee, tea kettle and lots of tea choices plus a toaster.
The porch is perfect for enjoying the view of the neighboring farm and the cows in the distance. Sometimes they come over to the fence to say hello in the morning. Enjoy your coffee or breakfast on the porch, or set a more formal table in the dining area. Sit around the fire pit at night and watch the fireflies and the stars.
There is an amazing wood fired hot tub in our forest that can be rented for an additional fee.
* The Farmhouse and the tiny house are both situated on our 2-acre property. The two homes are about 65 feet away from each other and have separate fire pits and outdoor living spaces. You may, however, see and hear your vacationing "neighbors", so please bear that in mind when booking. Why not book both properties and bring friends with you to stay in the other space? What fun!
