Dammablick Göschenen

Nous avons vraiment apprécié le calme et la propreté de cette maison. Nous ne nous attendions pas à ce que cela soit si grand! Il y a un beau séjour avec la télévision et on en a profité pour regarder la finale de la Coupe du Monde 😀. La maison fournit tout le nécessaire (cuisine bien équipée) et la boite à clé nous permet d'arriver à toute heure. Le restaurant - buffet juste en face est également très appréciable!

Il n'y a pas vraiment quelque chose que nous n'avons pas apprécié... Seulement en venant de Belgique pour se rendre en Italie, nous avons dû patienter longuement dans les files avant d'arriver (car le logement est vraiment aux portes du Tunnel du St Gothard et la circulation est très dense)...

Comfortabel huis. Prachtige omgeving, vanuit huis uitzicht op de gletsjer. Compacte indeling en toch ruime kamers.

Het huis is gehorig, niet wat betreft verkeer (rustige straat) maar de vloer kraakt, zodat we ook de bovenburen steeds hoorden lopen.

C’était très chouette de se retrouver tous ensemble et le logement était très propre Nous avons bien ri quand nous avons utilisé la lumière du miroir 😀🤣

This was the perfect home base for our family of eight! The apartment was incredibly spacious, so everyone had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Parking was easy, there was a Coop grocery store just a short walk away that we used several times, and the thoughtful décor and little touches made the apartment feel especially warm and welcoming. The kids absolutely loved the loft with the bunk beds, and we especially appreciated the extra half bathroom. With a large group, having an additional toilet while others were showering made getting everyone ready each morning so much easier! Staying here was a much more affordable alternative to Andermatt while still providing easy access to everything we wanted to do. We especially enjoyed the scenic walking trail connecting Göschenen and Andermatt - it followed the gorge and had stunning mountain views. The location was also ideal for exploring the spectacular alpine loop over the Susten and Furka Passes. We would happily stay here again!

I do want to mention one consideration for future guests. This is an older property, and as a result there are several small step-ups and step-downs throughout the apartment, as well as going in and out of rooms. That isn't necessarily a negative - we actually found it added to the character of the home when we first arrived. However, my aunt had a fairly serious fall in the bathroom because of a step-down that wasn't immediately noticeable, and we were very grateful she ultimately did not require emergency medical care. I would be hesitant to recommend this property for older guests or anyone with mobility or balance concerns.
