Albion's House

Great place to stay! The location was easy to find, and the check-in instructions were very clear. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was very friendly. The house is large, beautifully renovated, and very clean. The spacious kitchen and living room open onto a nice terrace, making it a pleasant place to relax. The bedroom and bathroom were both spotless. We only stayed one night, but we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

The stay was overall pleasant, but we visited during a heatwave in late June, and the room became extremely hot. We understood that there was no air conditioning, and a fan was provided, which was appreciated. However, the biggest issue was that there were no curtains or shutters on the windows—only an exterior rolling screen that didn't block the sunlight completely. As a result, the sun heated the room throughout the day, and by the evening it felt like an oven. Adding blackout curtains or proper shutters would make a big difference, especially during the summer.

Sheets were ill fitting so came off easily and uncovered a stained mattress which we got blamed for.
