The primary bedroom features a king bed and an updated en suite bath with a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom is furnished with a queen and twin bed, offering flexible sleeping arrangements and access to a second full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. * Sea Pines is a gated community in which every vehicle must have a gate pass for entry. One gate pass is included with your reservation at the time of booking. If you require additional passes, please request the exact number needed to ensure they are prepared in advance. Each pass has a fee of $35. All gate passes must be picked up at the host2coast office prior to entry.
* The South Beach Marina Pool is open seasonally from June through August. Please note that pool access is not included with your stay. Guests who wish to use the pool must purchase a pass directly from South Beach Pool in advance. For current rates and details, please visit their official website.
* Please be advised that there is ongoing construction at South Beach Marina for the foreseeable future. Some shops remain open, including The Salty Dog.

This was a little further inside Sea Pines than we usually stay, but it was so nice to be so close to the beach. We also walked to the salty dog café twice during our stay, and the vibe there was very fun. The apartment itself was very clean, well equipped, and just a few minutes walk from the beach which was perfect. The hosts were very attentive and answered questions via text quickly (we didn’t have many). Since we did have our two year old I think it’s worth mentioning for others within kids that all of the table surfaces have glass on them lol and also that the kitchen, while fully equipped with nice quality, dishes and cooking ware, doesn’t have any non-breakable cups or dishes, so you may want to bring some paper or plastic ones of your own if you’re traveling with a young child. Overall five stars from us, we would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great experience.

The condo is nice. The kitchen is well stocked. Great ensuite. Sea pines is a dreamy little community. There are a few things I wish I paid more attention to prior to booking. The home isn't child friendly. Lots of glass. The beach within walking distance (maybe 2 min) is on the sound and not great for beach play. No waves for boogie boarding and the narrow beach is covered in sticks which made it less than ideal for sand castles. You can drive a few minutes to the beach club but theres no public parking and the trolley doesn't allow a ton of beach gear.The only issue with the property is the air conditioning unit. Check in instructions & lots of posted signage in the home have a warning not to lower the thermostat below 72. Which made me think they know this unit has a less than adequate air conditioner. I prefer a cooler home especially at night but 72 is manageable. However the unit still had a difficult time keeping up. This became nearly unbearable if the dryer was running or we were using blow dryers. The temps reached the 80's at one point. We didn't contact the host so I don't know how the situation would have been handled. However the pre arrival instructions included a threat of being billed if you didn't follow the 72 degree rule and therefore had to service the unit. Which made me think they weren't very sympathetic to the air conditioning issue. But again that's just an assumption.Over all a nice little spot it just wasn't ideal for my family specifically.
