2026 Beach Restoration Update
The City of Isle of Palms has approved a beach nourishment project planned for Summer-Fall 2026. Although the final schedule has not yet been announced, the work is expected to progress in sections along the shoreline, so any impact to a specific area should be temporary.
We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available and are happy to offer guidance based on your travel dates.

The location was great. Yes, it was a drive into the island, but it's nestled in the back so the area is quiet. The view was wonderful. Sunrise is just out of sight, though, because of the angle of the building. It's a very short walk to the ocean. The pool was nice. The condo was extremely clean and well stocked. The outside of the condo building has recently been updated too. There is an area under the building for bikes and beach gear. Each condo has their own location that you can lock your stuff in (bring a lock though). We did need to reach out to the owners a few times (via text) and their response was very quick. When we were there, the lock on the living room sliding door didn't work. Only calling this out for safety purposes (specificly families with kids). We told the owner immediately but also indicated it didn't need to be fixed for us because we had no kids. We were ready to rebook this location for later this year before leaving, but were bummed when we realized the pool at this condo closes at the end of August every year. We will be back in the future, though.

A beautiful unobstructed view of the pool and ocean. We drank our coffee each morning enjoying this view. We watched ships and lots of pelicans go by. It was breathtaking. The quality of the furniture was excellent the beds were so comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well equipped tho we didn't eat in at dinner time. It is was sad to leave the condo, it was an outstanding few days.

Beautiful ocean view. Great beach to walk and bike. Bike paths in Wild Dunes very nice. Many excellent restaurants nearby. Unit very comfortable and quiet. Nice balcony and furniture. Kitchen well equipped.

Unit was nice and clean with everything you need. Beds were comfy. Some plumbing issues that were not resolved. Drains in both showers were clogged - maintenance fixed them but after repairs, the drain in the secondary bathroom flooded the unit below us, so we couldn't use that shower at all during our stay. The front door doesn't lock well - it can be pushed open when locked. We had to put a chair at the front door to secure it when inside.
