2026 Beach Update: The City of Isle of Palms is carrying out a beach renourishment project, expected to move along the beach in sections between summer and fall 2026. Because crews work steadily down the shoreline, any impact to a specific area is temporary, and the beach stays open with access outside active work zones. A final schedule hasn't been released yet — we're tracking updates and are happy to provide guidance based on your travel dates. Summer House 109 sits on the ground floor of the newly renovated Summer House complex — one of the few units where you can step directly from your patio to the pool and the ocean in under a minute. No long hallway. No hauling a cooler and wet swimsuits through a lobby. Just open the door and go.

Wild Dunes does not have a central pool open to all visitors — pool access is specific to your community.

Any questions that we had before/during our stay were answered promptly and we were assured to call/message anytime if we needed the host. It was so very nice to stay where there were plenty of towels. Overload of them and not all were used but nice there were plenty surprisingly compared to anywhere we have ever stayed. If we ever get back down here we will stay here again.

The property was perfect for our stay. Every room was clean and this property definitely met our expectations.

Unit was lovely. Clean and offered basic beach supplies chairs, towels etc. only concern and i called the property manager was the guest room door hinges are out of line and the door does not close properly. Should be looked at for repair. Not a problem for us did not use that room every night of the stay. Did not use the pool as it was closed and not pool weather. Only thing i think that could be improved is consideration of a new sofa. Very poor condition you sink down into a pit!

I may have missed this in the listing but we had no idea about the construction. It went on all weekend except Sunday. They started at 8 o’clock in the morning and worked all day. Their trucks were in the way and it was definitely a view killer. I think I am due some goodwill from the Landlord.
