Cozy and comfortable, this second-floor villa at Mariner's Cay features wonderful views of the Folly River! Spend your mornings taking long walks on the ocean beach nearby, come home to unwind with a good book on the screened porch, and retreat each afternoon to the community's seasonal outdoor pool, tennis courts, and dock on the river.

The gated community of Mariner's Cay, with its pool, dock, and tennis courts, is located on the northern banks of the Folly River. Downtown Folly Beach, where you'll find access points to the ocean, the iconic Folly Beach Pier, and a number of restaurants and shops, is three-quarters of a mile south. Downtown Charleston, which is known for its lovely architecture, storied history, and renowned restaurants, is only 11 miles north.

The location is perfect… it is away from the chaos of Folly but still close enough that you could walk to the beach if you wanted. The pictures were accurate and we had plenty of space. It is definitely a little dated, but we were there basically to sleep/shower so that wasn’t a deal breaker, especially because the price was right. The property itself is quiet. My only reason for the 4/5 is it could have been cleaner. We found a chunk of hair in one of the showers and all had black feet from walking around (then decided to put on shoes).
