"Perfect location in the heart of Rome. Even the objective taxi drive who dropped us off marvelled at how good the location was. A short walk to Colosseum and Forum. A couple of nice restaurants close ..."

It was in a fantastic neighborhood within walking distance to the colosseum.
It was a loft, there was no bathroom upstairs. After needing to use the facilities multiple times during the night. I slept on the downstairs couch the rest of the night.

Very helpful host and super easy to get the keys. There was a plumbing issue which they fixed when they came to collect the city tax.
The wooden floor can be a bit noisy and wake people up if you are going to the bathroom late at night. Perhaps add some rugs?
