Venus Downtown Hotel

This is definitely the best budget hotel in Cairo. Everything is excellent including the staff/hospitality, unlike other budget accommodation across Cairo. I am amazed at how wonderful Venus hotel is and I would absolutely return and stay at this gem again. Unbeatable value.

Great location, affordable prices and nice staff.

There was no soap in the shared toilet.

Готель розміщений в центрі Каїру - біля залізничного вокзалу Рамзес і станції метро Аль-Шохада. Вхід знаходиться напроти автозаправки "CO-OP". До 10 поверху вас довезе ліфт. Тут чисто, дуже приємний персонал. Можна користуватись кухнею і пральною машиною. Хороший вайфай, велика кімната з кондиціонером і балконом. Чудове співвідношення ціни і якості. Прекрасний варіант для туристів з обмеженим б'юджетом. Рекомендую.

Моє вікно виходило на вулицю і було шумно. Є кімнати, вікна яких не виходять на вулицю, але там гірший вайфай.

The employees were super kind and accomodating. I needed to check in super early after taking a night bus from Cairo that lasted hours and they let me in and gave me an upgraded room with a private bathroom. It was very cheap to stay here, and very central, in a popular area. There was a bed to sleep in, and a hot water to shower, so the absolute basics are there for sure.

Unfortunately, the room was super dirty, the bed scared me of bedbugs (which didn't exist! but I was still uncomfortable sleeping there), and the noise at night was loud, even at the 10th floor, but that's just Cairo. The bathroom was just as uncomfortable. The walls, the linen, all of these things were definitely not the cleanest, but also not dangerously dirty.
