Amazing location in Monti. Great choice of food and drink plus a stone's throw from the colosseum. Comfortable room with good storage for clothes. Heater was effective when the evenings dropped in chilly. I had a good stay, but some details could have made it great....
I had wrongly anticipated direct access to the terrace - note that it is a shared terrace two flights of stairs up from the room, so not as appealing for the casual breakfast/coffee I had planned. The furniture was also quite dirty and broken up there which reduced the enjoyment. Parts of the room are quite tired such as very deep sinks in the mattress, black, cracked sealant and grout in the bathroom. Little details could have made me feel more confident in the cleanliness like providing a fresh dish sponge per stay instead of leaving the damp old used one from previous. The door lock is done through a Web page, but before you've got in and connected to the WiFi, the signal is very low at the door, so it's a game of getting to a signal spot outside, pressing the link to open the door and then trying to catch it before it locks again! Lucky there were two of us. The street was noisy from about 5am with deliveries, trash collection, etc. Very low soundproofing so it carried loudly into the room.

Location was fantastic close to bars restaurants and historical sites. The apartment was lovely cosy and well fitted. The bed was so comfortable and we slept so well. It was quiet at night despite the central location. There was coffee, tea, and bathroom toiletries supplied which was great. The towels were large and super soft. The terrace is well worth a visit. The views are amazing!! We wrapped up and chilled on the loungers with a lovely glass of Italian wine and watched the sunset - a definite highlight! Oh and the host was so helpful too!
We were delighted with the apartment overall. The only downside is access as there is no lift and there are stairs to the apartment and the terrace which is a few more flights up which may cause a problem for those with mobility issues.

What an amazing apartment in the heart of ancient Rome! The neighborhood of Monti where the apartment is, is perfectly located to be in walking distance of everything you'd want to see. The Forum is literally right at the end of the street. Just a few feet away from your door. We couldn't have asked for a better location. The apartment is very cute and so well equipped. Plates, cups, small kitchen, coffee machine with some pods but also a traditional kettle for instant coffee. Theres a microwave and small fridge so it really is perfect little home away from home. The host is extremely kind and very prompt with communication. Theres a supply of toilet paper, fresh towels and even a washing machine that wash and dries, so no excessive laundry when we get home! There is also an iron and hairdryer in the bathroom for your use. There is some stairs to climb to get to the apartment, but its not unmanageable. Its worth every step! We are really thankful for the amazing hospitality, great service and such a beautiful little apartment. It made our trip very memorable 🤍
The shower is a bit of a mission. It doesn't have a traditional shower head, its a hand shower that is mounted on the wall but you can adjust it to suit you. However the shower door entrance is not very wide. If you are a bigger person, it is quite a challenge to get into the shower. I am a size 18 curvy woman and I barely fit. But made it happen. If you are larger though, you won't fit through the door. Its not a deal breaker and I won't hesitate to stay here again, but it is something to keep in mind. If the shower door can be replaced, this would really be the perfect little setup! It was the ONLY slightly negative aspect.
