Roman Forum View apartment

The location was brilliant so close to all the historical sites and restaurants Everything was within a comfortable walking distance for us so it meant you could walk out and come back for a rest. Loved the easy walk into the city at night time. Delightful The city noise didn’t bother us as we’ve lived in inner cities all our lives and expect to hear deliveries etc. Bed was comfortable & large and there was aircon.

The check in …a little confusing 🫤 You need 4/5 G signal to get in but that drops out at the door. Only worked because my husband went down the street and I stood at the door 🤷‍♀️ I thought the studio apartment was tired and could do with a referb The kitchen was ok but I wouldn’t be cooking there as not enough cooking equipment The wardrobe and cupboards in the kitchen were full of stuff. I understand that this is probably someone’s home but the cupboards for guests should be cleared out The shower was difficult to get into small and need of a re grout The out door terrace was disappointing as on the top floor of the building another 2 floors up Again tired and furniture old requires an up date. So my idea of an evening with a cool drink looking out over the city didn’t happen sadly

Boravak u ovom apartmanu bio je pun pogodak! Lokacija Rione Monti je apsolutno neprocjenjiva — sve glavne znamenitosti, restorani i kafići udaljeni su svega nekoliko minuta lagane šetnje, a sam pogled na povijesni dio grada daje poseban šarm cijelom iskustvu. Apartman je izuzetno čist, moderan i odlično opremljen svime što je potrebno za ugodan boravak (od kuhinje do brzeg interneta). Domaćini su bili iznimno ljubazni i na raspolaganju za savjete i preporuke. Topla preporuka svima koji traže savršen spoj udobnosti i boravka u samom srcu grada. Sigurno bismo se ponovno vratili! je

Pri dolasku, pojednostavljen ulaz u zgradu i apartman putem aplikacije, stvori komplikacije pri ulasku u zgradu i apartman, kad vam je nedostupna Internetska veza. Ni strme stepenice do apartmana s velikom prtljagom ne olakšavaju pristup apartmanu.

Amazing location in Monti. Great choice of food and drink plus a stone's throw from the colosseum. Comfortable room with good storage for clothes. Heater was effective when the evenings dropped in chilly. I had a good stay, but some details could have made it great....

I had wrongly anticipated direct access to the terrace - note that it is a shared terrace two flights of stairs up from the room, so not as appealing for the casual breakfast/coffee I had planned. The furniture was also quite dirty and broken up there which reduced the enjoyment. Parts of the room are quite tired such as very deep sinks in the mattress, black, cracked sealant and grout in the bathroom. Little details could have made me feel more confident in the cleanliness like providing a fresh dish sponge per stay instead of leaving the damp old used one from previous. The door lock is done through a Web page, but before you've got in and connected to the WiFi, the signal is very low at the door, so it's a game of getting to a signal spot outside, pressing the link to open the door and then trying to catch it before it locks again! Lucky there were two of us. The street was noisy from about 5am with deliveries, trash collection, etc. Very low soundproofing so it carried loudly into the room.

Location was fantastic close to bars restaurants and historical sites. The apartment was lovely cosy and well fitted. The bed was so comfortable and we slept so well. It was quiet at night despite the central location. There was coffee, tea, and bathroom toiletries supplied which was great. The towels were large and super soft. The terrace is well worth a visit. The views are amazing!! We wrapped up and chilled on the loungers with a lovely glass of Italian wine and watched the sunset - a definite highlight! Oh and the host was so helpful too!

We were delighted with the apartment overall. The only downside is access as there is no lift and there are stairs to the apartment and the terrace which is a few more flights up which may cause a problem for those with mobility issues.
