Ibernesi - Charming apartment at the Roman Forums

Perfect location for exploring Rome. You step outside, walk round the corner and you are at the Roman Forum. Just perfect. Great bars and restaurants nearby. The hosts were very responsive and friendly.

We stayed with another couple and, because of the layout of the apartment, there was very little privacy. The upstairs part is quite low as you are in the eaves, but you quickly get used to it.

Convenient location for all of the historical areas, and easy to travel around the city.

My husband is 6’4” and had a bit of a hard time maneuvering the beams in the loft.

Overall, we had a good stay at Ibernesi Charming Apartments. The location was excellent and made it very easy to explore Rome's main attractions, restaurants, and shops. The apartment itself was generally clean and comfortable. However, the upstairs area has a very low ceiling with exposed wooden beams, making it difficult to move around without bending down. My daughters bumped their heads several times. While the apartment was generally clean, the bathroom could use more attention, as there was mold visible in the shower grout and some peeling paint and mold traces on the bathroom ceiling.

Great location and Alla (our host) was super friendly and helpful. Had a small issue with the key (that may have been my fault) but Alla was very accessible and was able to resolve the issue quickly. She also helped arrange a transfer to the airport and spoke English which was helpful since our Italian was limited. The loft was a little smaller than expected based on the pictures but there was plenty of space for 4 adults to stay. There was a very comprehensive book of restaurants and attractions which was a nice resource. I would stay again. Thanks Alla!!
