    There were some good and bad points for this hotel. First, the good. It is clean and modern and looks nice. The breakfast is quite good. The bed is comfortable, and the room is big. Next, the bad. The bathroom area was seemingly designed by someone who has never stayed in a hotel in their life. It's kinda open plan, with no bathroom door to keep out the sounds and smells lol. Separate doors for the toilet and shower. The toilet door didn't even close properly (fortunately the shower one did, so that's something). Next issue is no ironing boards in the room, even when asking for them. You need to take your clothes to a lady on the 19th floor and she'll do it for you. There's plenty of space in the rooms for an ironing board, so this is a nonsense. Another negative is the location, though that is known when you book. The places of interest in Guangzhou are in the west or central, and this hotel is to the east. The metro is a 10-minute walk away, which is ok in the evening but not so appealing in the heat of the day.

    Stayed in the suite for 3 nights. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. As a foreigner, I got food poisoning during my stay and asked the staff whether they had any basic medicine available, but they simply said no without offering any assistance or guidance. I also asked about a nearby money changer and again received no help. For a suite stay, I expected a better level of service and hospitality. There was also no proper explanation on how to use the room controls and facilities upon check-in, which made the stay frustrating. Overall, the service did not meet expectations and I would not recommend this hotel.
