While the apartment is tiny, the space is very well utilized and has a high ceiling, which makes the space feel very open and spacious. It has everything you need to be comfortable, and we especially loved the washer/dryer combo. The apartment is situated very close to the ferry terminal and a New World for groceries, which was hugely convenient.

I hesitate to write this, as I know it’s tough with older buildings. But, it was enough of a problem to make my stay a bit uncomfortable: we spotted a couple of roaches. The owner did come by to help remedy the issue. Again, it’s very difficult to manage with a building this large, old, and urban, but I think people should know. The apartment does not have AC. It was not a problem for us in the early winter months, but a good thing to bear in mind. Finally, my biggest issue: the noise. If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you.
