Delightful Encounter - 1B Apt on Centre Queen Street

Great location in the buzzling Queens Street. Near to the train station, supermarket, shops and eateries.

The location is centrally located. It is very close to the harbour.

The hall way needs more ventilation. The numbering system for room 714 was a bit confusing. It took me a while to find the room which was next to room 721. As you enter the main hall, you can see room 713 then 715 716 etc and the rooms were in sequence and easy to find except room 714 (next to 721).

Good location in the centre of Queen Street in a beautiful old building. The host communicated really well and the lockbox was easy to find. They provided a lot of good information pre and during the stay.

Not sure if there are bars nearby but very loud people talking at 3am in the morning below and the sound travelled up and through the thin windows. The bathroom fan is permanently on and is right next to the bedroom so it's a bit of a droning sound all night (there is a sign about this in the bathroom but it would be good if they could get this changed). The bathroom drains need to be cleared or something as it did not smell good. There are also lots of signs about not "damaging" property and the fees to pay for these which included towels etc - not sure why but it felt quite unwelcoming.
