Great location close to the beach but in nature

The owner was helpful once we got hold of him. Kind owner also collected us from the airport and organised a TukTk to train station. Peaceful setting back from the hustle and bustle of Varkala.
The property says ‘balcony’ but the balcony is a walkway, so, other guests are walking past, which means you have to have your curtains closed for privacy. There was no water, loo roll or towels on arrival and the elderly man in charge was quite difficult to communicate with. There was no bin in the room and there were ants in the bathroom. I’m sure some small changes would improve this or perhaps we were unlucky with our timing.
