The location of the property was fantastic and easy walking distance to the main square and surrounding shops and beaches. You are only a couple of mins away from mini supermarkets and larger ones. There is a beach across the road but not suitable for swimming but definitely lovely for an evening stroll or just for watching the sea from your balcony. The property was was probably the cleanest apartment that I have ever stayed in and never felt like there was a guest that had stayed before us. The glasses and dishes were so clean and the taps shone brightly. There was great WiFi connection and the apartment had access to Netflix. The apartment was comfortable and homely with plenty of blankets and cushions for a chilled evening on the sofa or on the balcony. For the hotter days the A/C in every room worked like a dream. The extra toilet was also very useful but each room had their own bathroom and toilet which was spacious and also very clean. The main bedroom en-suite was one of the best I’ve had and the double shower was a nice touch. The balcony was large and also had everything you needed from dining table and chairs to a comfy sofa along with a dry rack for your clothes. We absolutely loved the rooftop pool! It was quiet most days and immaculate. There were enough sun loungers and a shower and toilet. Staff onsite all day and night which gives the extra feeling of security although the area was safe and we never felt any need to be cautious of our surroundings. The apartment was cleaned 2 times in the 10 days which we were there and that was sufficient enough and the lady that came was always polite and left the apartment spotless. She does an amazing job!! I would definitely book again and if I didn’t have to leave I would have looked to extend my stay. I would also recommend this apartment to anyone.

The apartment was fantastic but there were a few points to mention. Firstly the beds were large but they were so hard and none of us enjoyed sleeping on them, the pillows were also hard, and that may be personal preference but our experience was that they were too hard. The double shower, although a nice touch, when run at the same time can make the shower area full of water. We did see a few bugs in the apartment but these are the same that are across the island and there were repellents plugged into every room. We did get locked in the apartment one day and it was a difficult struggle to get out and while we tried to get out we did contact the host who responded after we had managed to get out and despite being told that we experienced being locked in the apartment, there was no follow up to ask why this happened or if we needed someone to come and check the lock. Another point to mention is the building work happening in front of the property. When we arrived there was one site being worked on in front of the property but just to the right and this didn’t disturb us but in the last few days of our stay, building work started directly in front of the property next to the Columbus restaurant (which is lovely by the way and you should definitely try it), and this did disturb us as they’d start work at 7:30am, and wasn’t a pleasant sight considering the week prior that area was just sand and palm trees. It’s not a major issue but something to bear in mind for the future, I’d be curious to know if this will obscure view going forward. Lastly but most importantly as this dropped the rate from a 10 to a 9 was, the arrival/ check-in process. A taxi was arranged by the host to collect us from the airport and that was seamless and we highly appreciated it, when we arrive at the apartment, the person on reception did not have our booking and spent some time calling different numbers trying to find out what’s going on.

Appartamento nuovo dotato di ogni confort (pensatole e stoviglie, lavastoviglie, lavatrice, asse e ferro da stiro..) con refresh infrasettimanale che prevede, oltre alla pulizia, anche il cambio delle lenzuola e, a richiesta, di asciugamani e tappetini bagno al costo di euro 20. Personale sempre presente in reception, host disponibile a formire i transfer (e non solo da e per l’aeroporto), e anche rifornimento cialde macchina del caffè, al costo di euro 0,50 l’una. Buona la vicinanza con la piazza centrale, dove si svolgono le attività musicali serali. Vista spettacolare sulla spiaggia di rocce e sabbia antistante.

Un peu de bruit le matin car travaux dans le quartier Difficile de se baigner sur la plage en face de l’appartement (cailloux++) mais paradis pour les kit surfeurs.

Het appartement was echt top, mooier nog dan op de foto's! Ruime slaapkamers, beide badkamers en-suite en beide toegang aan het lange balkon. Woonkamer en keuken ook prima, ook al maakten we daar het minste gebruik van, ook deze heeft een schuifdeur naar het balkon. Mooi uitzicht over de zee. Prima op loopafstand van het leuke plaatsje Santa Maria! Het strand voor de deur is prima, maar als je de zee in wilt liggen er veel keien. Loop iets verder naar rechts en je hebt een heerlijke zee zonder keien. Leuk zwembad op het dak met enorm uitzicht naar alle kanten. komen hier zeker terug! Wij waren hier tijdens Valentijnsdag en als verassing stond er een chocolade taartje in de ijskast toen we weer in het appartement waren, hoe leuk!

Het enige minpuntje is, wij waren met 2 stellen en hadden maar 1 sleutel voor de kamer. Dat mogen er best 2 zijn...
