Bird garden Midigama

Beautiful place to relax in midigama and enjoy some peace and quiet. The rooms are very well equipped and have a fan and AC. The family offering the rooms are the most wonderful people you can imagine. We stayed here for 11 days and can only recommend it. We also had a fish BBQ with the whole family and Anuska (the son) prepared everything so wonderfully and deliciously. Absolutely recommendable, so that if you are traveling as a tourist you can also support the locals instead of "big" resorts or hotel complexes. Thank you (Studiii🤣) very much! See you sometime.❤️

Nothing

We had a great stay at this family owned guesthouse located in a peaceful jungle oasis away from the noise of the road and railway tracks, but still only a few minutes walk away from the beach and lazy left/lazy right surf spots. The name of the guesthouse is spot on - you'll literally wake up to the sounds of birds singing! The room is quite spacious, there's AC, good mattress, hot water shower with pump so great pressure in the shower. The hosting family is super sweet and nice and they'll even do your laundy for a small fee. Overall a great value for the price and we would gladly stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Bird Garden. It’s a very nice and comfortable place, perfect for relaxing. The owner is super nice, welcoming, and always helpful. They also offer laundry service at a very good price, which was really convenient. The bed is very comfortable, and the highlight for us was the private garden. Waking up to birds singing and the sounds of the jungle was absolutely amazing. We stayed for one week and truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended!

Hot water pressure is not the best, but it’s common in Sri Lanka in a lot of places. Nothing we couldn’t handle.
