The Moon House

My friend and I absolutely loved staying at Moon House. It was exactly the kind of place we were looking for — peaceful, green, and relaxing, while still being close to the beach. The beach is just a short walk or bike ride away, but the surroundings of Moon House feel completely different from the busy and crowded streets near the beach. After spending the whole day at the beach, coming back to Moon House and relaxing in such a quiet and green environment was honestly amazing. It really felt like our own little mini jungle and a home away from home. The rooms were very clean, and we loved the fresh feeling of the recent renovations. Everything felt comfortable and well looked after. The family was also very friendly and welcoming. Sandaru, the host, was always helpful and made our stay much easier. He arranged scooters for us at a better price than what we found in the area, which we really appreciated. Ruwan was also always there to help us with his taxi whenever we wanted to visit other towns, and he offered us very reasonable prices. Having that kind of help made getting around so much easier and stress-free. We truly loved our stay at Moon House and would definitely come back. If you’re looking for a peaceful, green place to stay near the beach — away from the crowds but still close to everything — Moon House is a wonderful choice. 🤍🌿

a comfortable room with hot water in a quiet area with lots of wild animals visiting. great contact with the host who provided all we needed. the kitchen is functional, we cooked many meals

Cosy garden, well maintained, nice hosts

Nos gustó la hospitalidad de los dueños de la casa que nos hacían el desayuno y respondían rápido a nuestros mensajes, también la naturaleza que había alrededor, y es un sitio apañado y tranquilo. Esta bien para parejas o gente que va sola.

El alojamiento no estaba mal, era una habitación con baño con bastante espacio, lo único que nos hubiera gustado un poco más fue la limpieza sobre todo del baño, la habitación en sí bien pero faltaba un poco de higiene.
