We stayed here for a week while we were in Weligama. It’s out of the main hustle and bustle but a short walk from a few small shops and places to eat. Prasanna has a tuk tuk, which, for really reasonable prices he is able to take you where you need to go if you want to do bigger shops, go to yoga or surfing lessons or specific beaches (do arrange to be collected from the train station - so much easier!). The apartment is basic (but value for money for the price you pay). It has everything you need, including a rice cooker, which is really handy. The bed is huge and comfortable, the bathroom a little small - but manageable. The balcony is lush in the evenings and mornings for breakfast. The different birds in the trees just in front of you are amazing! Prasanna was a fantastic host and if we find ourselves back in the area we would definitely stay there again.

It would have been handy to have the stand and tap for the largest water bottles - helpful for longer stays.

This is a beautiful retreat tucked away from the hustle and bustle of town that truly felt like a home away from home. The host family lives downstairs and strikes the perfect balance between being attentive and respecting your privacy. I was touched by the thoughtful gestures, like one of their daughters lighting mosquito-repellent incense each evening when I returned. You will wake up to the sounds of birds and squirrels. The accommodation is well-equipped with everything needed for self-catering. While it’s approximately a 30-minute walk to the beach and town center, getting around is easy - you can rent a scooter or bicycle, or simply catch the bus that stops nearby.

I recommend this place. Spacious apartment in a quiet area of ​​Weligama. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is available. The beach is a 20-minute walk away, or 7-8 minutes by scooter. This was ideal for me, as the area is much quieter. The rooms are located on the second floor of the villa, you'll see only treetops, sun, and sky from the windows. This creates a feeling of country living. The family is very welcoming and ready to take care of you!

Just keep in mind that you'll still hear your neighbors or squirrels: so, earplugs won't hurt if you have restless sleep.

Отличный сад. Название полностью оправдано. Зелено, сочно, приятно. Просторный номер. Своя кухня, санузел с горячей водой. Блендер, тостер, мультиварка (что очень приятно и полезно так как готовили мы сами). Вентилятор на потолке, переносной и на стене на кухне. Небольшая терраса с видом на сад. Гараж для техники. Можно постирать кило вещей за 700руп. Вдали от оживленных улиц. Вся необходимая посуда для еды и готовки.

Нет кондиционера. Нет фена для волос. Вентилятор на потолке сильно щелкает и трещит. Нет нормального обеденного стола. Есть кофейный столик, но он очень маленький. Не особо хорошо стираное постельное белье. Балдахин над кроватью сильно пахнет сигаретами. Wi-Fi есть но по факту нет. Сигнал ужасный и постоянно отваливается. Обязательно нужен мопед или велик. До пляжа 2км. Проживали 4 дня. В целом хорошо на не долгий срок. Если устранить все эти мелочи будет супер.
