staying in a spacious, gorgeous, stylish house near the centre of Spa!

the owner was very welcoming, you can tell she has put a lot of work and effort into the rooms and the house, and we loved that the room and the bathroom had their character and style, while the bed was large and very comfortable. It is walking distance to the centre of Spa, we walked to the thermae on top of the hil (it was a 16minute walk with some altitude meters for the untrained, but then you can wash of the sweat once in the spa.) The room provided privacy and comfort, and the feeling os space made us feel like we were guests in a castle so to speak. The fact that our bathroom was a couple of steps from the room (half a floor down the beautiful wooden stairs) didn't bother us, it is exactly how we imagined these kind of big old houses to be set up. The car was safely parked inside the property when you drive into the alley next to the house, so it's an easy and convenient way to enter the house as well from the back. Thank you for letting us feel like royalty!

everything was good for us, just be aware it takes some time (half an hour) to heat up the bathroom when it is freezing outside, but once you have checked in and put the heating on for your stay, this is not an issue.

Fantastic accomodation. Fantastic host

Absolutely wonderful stay at La Villa Chatorya! The house is beautiful and full of charm. Our room was fantastic—stylish, elegant, and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was a real highlight, featuring a luxurious Jacuzzi hydromassage bathtub. The owner is extremely kind, welcoming, and made us feel at home from the very first moment. Private parking is available, which is a big plus, and the location is perfectly central. We truly had an amazing time and enjoyed every moment of our stay. We will definitely come back and highly recommend La Villa Chatorya to anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and warm hospitality.

Perfect weekend getaway location

The place is amazing! Very spacious, classy and cozy at the same time. Pretty quiet neighbourhood and very close to the city centre. I wish we stayed a bit longer to make use of all the amenities!

A good place to spend a couple of days in Spa

I lived in a beautiful room with jacuzzi bath in an atmospheric house just 5 minutes walk from the city center and the „Les Bains“. The owner is super friendly and helpful. I really felt like home.

The only misunderstanding was about the bathroom which the booking identified as private bathroom. It turned out that the bathroom which was there for our private use was not actually inside our room, it would take to cross a hallway to get there.

Tout ! L’accueil , l’immense chambre même si la Salle de bains immense également n’était pas attenante. Vu qu’il n’y a que deux chambres dans la maison , il n’y a aucun souci d’intimité. Les peignoirs étaient super doux 😍😍. Le calme de la chambre était incroyable. Le parking gratuit était un énorme + . La boulangerie a 30m permet de prendre un bon petit déjeuner dans la belle cuisine en vieux rose. Café et thé sont à disposition

Prachtig oud herenhuis. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Plaats om te parkeren. Pal in het centrum van Spa, maar toch rustig. De kamer is heel smaakvol ingericht maar met behoud vd authenticiteit vh gebouw. Prachtige gerenoveerde badkamer. Niks negatief. Wij komen zeker terug.

déçue par l'espace toilette et salle de bain

Propreté super, literie de qualité et gentillesse de l'hôte.

Le point négatif concerne la salle de bain et toilette, qui étaient présentées comme une salle de bain privée lors de la réservation. Il s'est avéré que la salle de bain et toilette qui étaient censées être à notre usage privé ne se trouvaient pas dans notre chambre ; il fallait traverser un couloir pour y accéder, celles-ci étant situées sur le pallier. Celà doit être indiqué dans la description de la chambre. L'accès au wifi devrait être disponible dans la chambre sans demande. L'accès du parking est un calvaire si nous sommes seul, ouverture de la double barrière à faire soi-même. Ce logement est familial il y a donc une certaine réserve ou gêne occasionnée lorsqu'il y a du passage ou pour prendre un café dans l'arrière cuisine, etc...

Zeer mooi en ontspannend !

Het prachtige plafond in de slaapkamer, het bubbelbad is ook zeker een meerwaarde, een super groot kingsize bed inclusief matras en heel veel zachte kussens.

De 2 slaapkamervertrekken waren afgesloten met een gordijn, waardoor er wel moest opgelet worden met geluid. De deuren waren voorzien van authentieke klinken/sloten die vanzelfsprekend ook lawaaierig waren.
