Nestor&Jeeves - PALAIS ALICE - Central - Near Beach

We liked the proximity to the Mediterranean Ocean, to the restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores. Being situated in the Carrée d'or was a definite plus. The living room and bedroom were spacious. The tall windows provided lots of light during the day. The furniture in the living room was comfortable. There was enough storage in the bedroom. The Nestor and Jeeves team was quick to respond to issues that we encountered and reported to them about the apartment.

The kitchen was very small and very poorly equipped. We had to buy decent wine glasses and a bread knife to cut our baguettes since there was non provided. The apartment was dusty , with dust bunnies on the floor and dust on the base boards. No equipment was provided to wash the floors, which we needed to do since we had rented for one month. The bed was not very comfortable, the mattress was thin, the pillows were old and lumpy. The first week, we had a number of issues, apartment and bathroom and door handles falling off, blocked drain in the shower, WIFI problems, curtain rod becoming unhinged from the wall. The living room cushions are getting old and smelly they need to be replaced.
