Cedar Key Islands Dolphins Cay Condo 230

I loved everything about this trip. Manager at front desk was exceptional and the housekeepers were cool as well. I went to the Tiki Bar down the road and the people I met were amazing people. Keyless access was super easy. This newly remodeled unit is perfect in every way!

No fault of the room but the town has not yet rebounded from the storms. Plus businesses like the Island Hotel were closed for vacation. So with Steamers restaurant working out of the same place as the 2nd street breakfast building, there was mainly just one place open to eat. So it was packed. Annie's was closed. Tony's has been out of business. No more waterfront dining. Good news. Steamers is building a new 3 story restaurant next to the hardware store. This will be fully handicap accessible - a first for Cedar Key. But with a full kitchen, bring your food and that is 100% perfect!

The location was perfect as everything was within walking distance and the view from our balcony was very nice. The condominium was fully equipped with every need we could possible have. Wifi and internet were appreciated as we are business owners and these were handy to have at our disposal. The decor and cleanliness of the condo were pristine. It was important to us to stay at a pet friendly accommodation and this location exceeded our expectations with food and water containers and treats!

This is a little picky, but fuller bath towels would have been great. We are average size people and the towels were a little skimpy, so a large person would find them even skimpier!

This was my first time using booking.com and a vrbo type rental, and to be fair I was not 100% confident of how this would turn out. I was blown away. The condo has just been redone and is beautiful, very clean, excellent (and much needed) A/C. It’s very well appointed and decorated. Comfy bed and lounger, great balcony facing the park and water. The location is excellent. Having an onsite reception was great! If you are going to Cedar Key DONT HESITATE, book this one! You wont regret it.

For my stay it was perfect and above my expectations, I never imagined I would be writing such a positive review when I made the reservation. Not related to the rental itself, but be aware the beach at the park is not great and there are no beaches in the area. The park itself was very nice. Great playground for kids.
