The nasty elevator, uneven floors, and concern about renovation of structure. We are aware of the devastation from hurricanes that hit Cedar Key and the recovery efforts since. We find Cedar Key to be resilient and hope it continues to rebuild.

Location was great. The deck and living space is perfect for a couple

We could hear the people upstairs clearly when we were on the deck. They weren't loud or anything, so it was fine. The bathroom door needs replacement

Bed was super hard.

The unit was very cozy and warm (we were there during a cold snap).

I feel very critical in stating this knowing the area is still recovering from the hurricane from last year but our first impression of the outside of the building was disturbing. This needs to be stated in the advertising for this unit. Also, the elevator is still out of order so anyone renting here needs to see they need to be able to carry their suitcases up stairs. The entry way for the room needs strong attention to make it more presentable. Removing the mop and bucket would be a big improvement. Also, the sliding door and the entire condition of the window area was quite a mess. The door took 2 hands to get it to move and lifted out of the track not making very secure.
