Our property is a two-unit cabin. This listing is for the UPPER SUITE, which has its own private entrance— there are no shared indoor spaces. There are some stairs from the driveway leading to the cabin entrance, which are not handicap accessible.
Our guests’ favorite features of the property are the beautiful downtown views and the convenience of being just steps from Main Street. Please note that because of this close proximity, you may occasionally hear some town noise, especially during busy weekends or seasonal events. If you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, we recommend keeping this in mind when booking.

Without hesitation, we can say our cabin is absolutely stunning, featuring outstanding décor and thoughtful design throughout. The great room is bright, open, and beautifully appointed with rich wood craftsmanship, custom details, and gleaming hardwood floors. Vaulted ceilings with skylights create an airy, spacious feel that makes the room feel even larger than it is.
From the outside, the cabin reflects true Bavarian-style ski chalet charm, while the interior offers a beautifully updated space filled with warmth and character. You can both hear and see the river from the property, adding to the relaxing mountain ambiance. The expansive downtown views are beautiful year-round, and when the leaves fall, the elevated views of downtown Helen below are especially breathtaking.
The great room also features a large HDTV with streaming services, plus board games and books for cozy nights in or rainy afternoons.

The bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed with a beautifully crafted wooden post frame designed with your comfort in mind. You’ll also find a spacious dresser with mirror and a large wardrobe, perfect for unpacking and settling in. For extra guests, the unit includes a queen-size sofa bed in the living room.
Please note: If you are a very light sleeper, you may wish to bring earplugs, as some seasonal weekend activity from town can occasionally be heard. We also provide a sound machine for white noise to ensure a restful stay.

Upper level unit is very clean and the furniture, kitchen, and bathroom look very new and functional. It is in the center of Helen which is very convenient. Steven is very responsive to my messages. He makes my stay feel very comfortable.
The only thing I want to point out, which is out of the owner s control, is the noises form the restaurants downhill. We came on a Friday night, and the bar music didn't end till 1:30ish. The noises were so loud that the sound machine could not cancel it. We could hear people's conversation clearly from our room. However, Saturday night was okay and the music definitely ended before 1am and the noises were not very loud.
Overall we love the property and will come back again.

This was truly one of our favorite stays. From the moment we walked in, everything felt incredibly clean, thoughtfully arranged, and welcoming.The space is so unique, especially being on the top floor with slanted ceilings. We loved starting our mornings with coffee while sunlight streamed through the skylights in the main living area. It created such a warm, relaxing atmosphere.The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower along with the oversized jacuzzi bathtub felt more like a spa than a rental. Every detail made it easy to unwind.The location couldn’t have been better. It’s an easy walk to town, and in the evenings we enjoyed hearing the sounds of the city, including live music. With buildings lit up at night, the whole town felt like a magical Christmas village.One highlight was visiting Anna Ruby Falls, which was beautiful and easy to get to.The porches surrounding the property were stunning. On one side, it felt like being in the woods, while on the other you could look down through the trees to the quaint town below. The host was incredibly accommodating and responsive.We would absolutely come back.
