Facilities:
Welcome to Villa Daheim in Juliusruh. The modern vacation apartments offer plenty of space for up to 2 people. Located right near the beach, you can enjoy your well-deserved vacation on Rügen to the fullest
Juliusruh-Breege on the island of Rügen is an idyllic former fishing village, stretching along the northern coast between the Schaabe and the Breeger Bodden. Originally, the residents made their living primarily from fishing and seafaring—in the 18th century, Breege was even one of the wealthiest towns on Rügen. Traces of this prosperity and maritime tradition can still be seen today in the thatched-roof captains’ houses along the harbor. Juliusruh was founded later, at the end of the 18th century, when the nobleman Julius von der Lancken had a manor house built here and laid the foundation for a seaside resort.
Today, Juliusruh-Breege is a popular vacation destination that combines tranquility and nature with a wide range of recreational activities. On the fine-sand beach, which stretches for several kilometers, guests can swim, take walks, or bike along the trails—with views of the Baltic Sea and surrounded by pine forests. Excursion boats depart from the harbor in Breege for Hiddensee and the famous Störtebeker Festival in Ralswiek. Hiking enthusiasts will find charming trails along the Bodden and through nearby Cape Arkona with its lighthouses and the Slavic Jaromarsburg.
Whether for history buffs, nature lovers, or families—Juliusruh-Breege combines maritime tradition with a variety of excursion options and offers an ideal starting point for discovering northern Rügen.
