facilities were amazing, good location, very spacious, very clean and all round a good place to stay

needed to be stocked with some more toiletries. Was 2 lockboxes on the property and host didn't specify which one to use and took a while to find the correct box. Also, the place i booked was not the place in the pictures, was a little different as we did not get a property on the river.

Very clean, all the amenities for a self catering stay. Lovely lodge, quiet and relaxing. Great hot tub we had a great stay.

The site was great, a good choice of things to do and almost everything was open in February! -The hot tub was lovely and very relaxing -Very comfortable sofas For some constructive feedback, I would suggest having a few DVDs for the player as the TV only works on normal channels. Overall the lodge is nice, not what we initially wanted, but we were happy enough as it was still two rooms and had a hot tub. It needs a little maintenance and a deep clean.

Upon arrival at lodge 106 we quickly realised that the key code provided did not work. We tried to call the hosts a couple of times without an answer. From a previous review we assumed that we had also been moved to a different lodge, without being notified or given the option to confirm if we are happy with this alternative. A quick message before our arrival would have been appreciated. A little later the owners messaged us and confirmed that we had been moved. No reason as to why. The lodge was nice but not what we booked, we wanted the lake view, in a home which looked like it had better furnishings on the photos. However, we decided not to let this spoil our short break. After looking around the lodge we noticed that the dishwasher had not emptied properly. The owner told us to run it. Upon trying this, the dirty water sprayed all over the kitchen, we were told that maintenance would sort this the following day. This did not happen. The freezer, was almost completely frosted over - meaning that it would not have been cleaned properly. Luckily we did not need to use this. The shower in the twin bedroom, needs to be looked at as it runs when the sink tap is turned on. The glasses and plates in the kitchen needed to be cleaned before use, there were also several cobwebs around the place. There was also a dirty washing up brush under the sink. A little more attention to detail is needed and this place would be great.
