Casa del Amor Luxury Apt, Sea views

Having stayed in this complex previously we knew what to expect from the beautiful outdoor area and its two swimming pools; one adult which wasn't too deep (I'm 5ft 4" and could stand with my head above the water very easily). There is also a shallower children's pool, which we used a lot to have a quick cool down. Both pools had large steps to get in and were quite warm as it was a hot July. The apartment was on the small size but was more than adequate for our 10 night stay. Inside there was a very comfy large corner sofa, a smart TV, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster and an air/fryer which I liked very much. The bed and pillows were very comfortable too. There was a small table and chairs both inside and outside the apartment. The very hot water was plentiful both in the kitchen and shower. The one air conditioning unit is located in the living room, it was very powerful and a must for the hot nights, there was no extra charge to use it. Washing up liquid and a few cleaning clothes were provided, as was cleaning equipment, i.e. brush, mop & bucket and 2 x clothes rails to dry your clothes. Most people that stay here are residential so it was fairly quiet around the pool area; no fight for a sunbed here! The complex is very well maintained and well lit at night and we felt very safe there. Location is great for both Old and New town. Most of our shopping was done at Mercadona which has a wonderful selection of all sorts of food, there is also a smaller shop at the end of the street which as great for your top ups or your daily fresh bread rolls. Although this apartment is ground floor I would not recommend to anyone that has difficulty with steps. There is one step inside and a few different levels of steps around the outside area.

Instructions of how to get to the complex was given to me before we arrived via WhatsApp but we did not receive the key code until we were actually at there. My husband and myself were very tired as we had a four hour delay and I was also feeling a bit poorly. It would have been less stressful for us if we could have been proved the key code beforehand so we could have got into the apartment as soon as we arrived. There was very little toilet roll left for us so it was a quick rush to the shops as this turned out to be an urgent matter. Luckily we knew where the closest shop was. Anyone staying here would need to bring or buy even the basics such as; toilet roll, salt n pepper, water, shower cream, etc. Only one bath towel and one hand towel each were provided, when these were in the wash we had nothing. A few more towels would have been very useful. Lastly you will also need to bring your own pool/beach towels.

Complex was very quiet, perfect if you're looking for peace but if you like some atmosphere it may be a bit too quiet, however we visited in January so could be different in peak season

Location was excellent close to all the bars and resaurants with the beach a 5 minute stroll away The complex has a nice pool and a good area for sunbathing with sufficient sun besds. The studio appartment has a terrace with sea view and is perfect for a solo traveller or a couple, as it had everything you would expect and also some nice additional extras e.g. pool towel, handwash, washing up liquid etc which makes life easier on arrival. Would definitely stay again on a return visit to Lanzarote.

My only small issue was that the communication could have been better regarding the keys, as I had to follow up with the property the day before arrival to obtain the location of the key box (as it was not the only one on the wall outside the gates) and how to find the actual property on the complex.

super alles zu erreichen, zu Fuß oder Bus; Parkplätze vorhanden, sehr ruhiges Umfeld und doch schnell im Trubel, sehr sauberes Appartment, sehr gepflegt, vor dem Appartment ein kleiner privater Bereich mit direktem Blick zum Pool, auch ein bischen Meerblick!, viel Platz für die eigene Kleidung, Küche hat alles, was man für die eigene Versorgung braucht, wäre gut wenn etwas Öl/Essig da wäre
