    We stayed at Radisson Hoofddorp in the month of August 2026. It was an excellent stay. The breakfast was really good and the location is near to Schiphol Airport, but well connected. There is a bus stop just next to the hotel, on the back side. If you are traveling with luggage, there is also a functioning elevator from the below road to the bus stop which is at a point of the flyover. From that particular bus stop, there is a direct bus to Rijksmuseum, to basically near the central part of Amsterdam. Contactless debit cards work perfectly in these buses - just tap in and tap out. Also there are regular buses from that bus stop to Haarlem, Zandvoort. Perfect for day trips too. So overall, the location is also pretty nice. It's basically in an office area and if you want to walk, you can directly walk to Hoofddorp railway station, which is around ten minutes' walk from the hotel. The footpath might be broken at places, but it's manageable. From Hoofddorp railway station, there is a direct train to Amsterdam Central, or else you can take the bus directly from the bus stop next to the hotel and reach the central area where Van Gogh museum / Rijksmuseum is. Initially I was a bit hesitant about the location of this hotel but it's pretty well connected. The price which I paid for my 6 night's stay was pretty reasonable.

    Guest receptionist told me he was too busy to attend to me. Told me to use the auto check-in which almost never works. After he sighed and finally attended to me his knowledge of 3rd party bookings was so poor he had to consult with two other attendants. In all I was 30 minutes in front of him which was quite frustrating after a 6 hour drive, arrived at 10pm with an early flight. Maybe he was new or maybe having a bad day. He did no make my day better.
