Hotel Aalsmeer

This was an excellent hotel. We had a large comfortable room and the staff was nice.

I really liked this hotel, but I lowered the rating significantly because there was an annual party on Saturday night that lasted until 1 am. The noise was incredibly loud, making it impossible to sleep, even with the windows closed. They told us a few days in advance, but not while booking, and at that time it was too late to change to another hotel. Even without the party there is quite some noise from the nearby Schiphol airport, but we were able to sleep through that even with the windows open (it was very hot)

Nice stuff, clean, quiet, beautiful wallpaper, well equipped.

We got one pair of slippers for two people, also shoe shine machine didn’t have cream.

Reasonably comfortable

Could have been cleaner- bathroom walls in particular. Check in was delayed even though we got there before check in time and the staff were aware of this. We asked if we could have another room as we were tired from travels and were told no. Safe wasn’t working and staff had to spend some time to fix it. Had to walk, take a bus then a train to get to Amsterdam Central.
