Most important (to me) is location - and for that it’s very good. I’m a Fulham guy, now living in Bristol - but I know this property as I used to deliver newspapers there when I was 11-12 years of age. The whole Booking transaction and contact is completed on-line - so it’s important to be prepared as the access process isn’t a standard “hotel” type process. However, I found the online exchanges with the host suitably quick and helpful.
The property is a flat in a block of flats - on the top (4th) floor without a lift. Obviously, there is no reception as would be in an hotel. You gain access via keys left in a key box outside. So, if you have an opportunity to do a “recce” visit before you need access, then I would strongly recommend it.
The room is essentially a standard living room with a temporary “put you up” bed. However, I found it comfortable. The toilet and (small) shower room is shared with another guest room.
