PARAISO BLANCO 39 Menyber

The apartment was beautiful, extremely spacious, very clean and fully equipped. The views from the lounge were amazing, the outside grounds were stunning. We had the swimming pool to ourselves most days, no scrambling for a sunbed at 8am in the morning. The pool benefited from a toilet block, sun loungers and plenty of shade if needed. The pool is very deep in 75% of the pool, there is a shallow end but not suitable for toddlers in my opinion. We were a 12 mins walk into Nerja itself, downhill, one route was more gradual than the other. We got a taxi back in the evening which cost €7, u need cash as the taxi's dont take card under €10. You also need to wait at the taxi rank for one, they won't stop if you try to wave one down. There are 2 supermarkets in close proximity to the apartment, we only went to 1 of them as they had everything we needed. Air conditioning was super in the apartment.

Mmm there wasnt anything we didn't like in the apartment, it was stunning however, getting to the apartment was another story, if you have the slightest mobility issues please think twice about booking. Steps, steps and steps, they are plenty, whilst the grounds are stunning the steps are not. It would have been nice to have known about the steps before I booked. My 2nd moan is that the apartment is not booked directly with the owner via Booking.com but a management company Menyber who use an app called Renterus. Prior to arriving I had to provide all our passport details including photos of them and then verify with an actual photo of all of us, I appreciate its needed for tourist information by the authorities but it was a shock to me so just wanted to warn people this was the norm. Renterus app also states that the key collection is from another location although they won't tell you where until 48 hours before your due to arrive. When I booked I expected it to be a neighbouring property, no, a keybox in town. I have attached a picture of it below as it was really easy in the end and took seconds to collect the key, taxi driver waited but I would have had less stress had I have seen the photo of the collection point when I had asked about the location. Why they need to do this when there is a key safe on the outside wall by the front door of the property, I dont really know! I found the Renterus app poor, I contacted them on a Thursday evening having arrived on the Wednesday before to say kettle was broken and dangerous, tripping the electric when we used it (just the once), I asked for a replacement. They didn't reply or even read the message, so disappointed. Having to use a saucepan to heat water is tedious and not acceptable. I only got a response after I prompted them again when they were arranging for us to return the key! Hopefully they have replaced it for anyone staying in the future.
