Charming central apartment in Albayzin

The biggest advantages are the location and the apartment itself. It is in the historic Albaicín district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but in the lower part near C. Elvira, so there is no need to climb the steep hills of the upper Albaicín every time. The apartment is bright, beautiful and very authentic, with several windows and views of the city and Cuesta Beteta. It is very well equipped for a longer stay: bidet, washing machine, iron, vacuum cleaner, cleaning and hygiene products, coffee, tea, spices and other useful basics. There was even a full pack of washing powder. The bed was also excellent and very comfortable. There were also plenty of brochures and information about things to do in Granada. Easy self check-in. The host was very friendly and helpful. He sent lots of useful information before arrival, helped me get flamenco tickets, and even came to help when I accidentally locked myself out at 9 p.m.

It would be helpful to have a short instruction for the shower, as I could not figure out how to use the other modes, apart from the handheld shower head.

Appartamento in ottima posizione in quartiere Albayzin. Appartamento molto bello e spazioso e molto silenzioso anche se vicino via centrale. Renato è stato molto gentile: ci ha dato suggerimenti su attività da svolgere.

Superb host, location and value. You would be very hard pressed to find a better place. Wonderfully helpful host, immaculately clean and (in my opinion) perfectly placed. It's about 1km (15 mins) from the train station, and 20 mins from the Al Hambre. The sofa bed in the photo is VERY firm and comfortable, and there is plenty of cabinet space. The windows have wooden shutters AND dark curtains, making the sun-bathed apartment (in the daytime) perfectly dark at night.

Not a criticism, but I didn't like the spongy latex bed. It felt firm enough at first, but I certainly did much prefer the very solid sofa-bed.
