Escape to Pine Draft Farm-“The Guest House”
Come and experience country and farm life in Hampshire County. West Virginias’ oldest county. We love the rural atmosphere here so much we had to come up with a way to share this experience with those who long for a break from their busy life or just want to sit and bird watch or enjoy looking at the dark night skies. Our late 1890’s 3 bedroom farm house is located on a working farm down a quiet country road in a farming neighborhood. It has been recently renovated and offers all the modern comforts with a cozy country farmhouse feel. Enjoy the scenery from the traditional front porch or picnic on the back patio. Our goal is to share the peaceful, private rural atmosphere of being in the country.
From the original yellow pine hardwood floors to the stainless steel appliances, we are sure you will find everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Two bedrooms offer queen beds and the third bedroom explodes with a twin over twin bunk bed and a twin over full bunk bed, Roku TV and large walk-in closets.
The living room-is furnished with clean leather furniture including a reclining couch, loveseat, and single recliner. During the late fall and winter months, a cozy warm wood stove fire in the living room is a perfect place to gather your friends and family for some provided board and card games.
Towels, bed linens, dish towels, and dish cloths are provided for your convenience.
Amenities such as bath soap, hand soap, and dish soap are provided as well.
A fully stocked kitchen including pots and pans, baking dishes, a crockpot, a place setting for 10 with extra plates and bowls, plenty of drinking glasses, coffee mugs, full silverware set, and all the necessary cooking utensils will make meal preparation a breeze. Cleanup is made even easier with the a dishwasher.

Don’t know, or enough space for, enough positive words to say about how awesome our stay was. Facility was above and beyond any other place we’ve stayed. The host is above accommodating and so kind and attentive. Home was spotless and comfortable. The sights were breathtaking. Highly recommend and hopefully we will be back.

This stay is the epitome of Farmhouse stay and am overall fantastic experience. The house is located within a working farm in the rolling, rural WV landscape. We loved having cows as neighbors and the house was exactly as promised. The kitchen and bathrooms are all modern and well appointed. The wooden floors, wood stove and front porch provide the charm. The beds were comfortable and there are ceiling fans to help with comfort. We appreciated the fresh bread, jam, and honey that greeted us at check in after a long drive. Kelli was always quick to respond to messages and friendly in communications. We’re already planning to make another visit to the farmhouse.
