This home was impressive! It had the space for our group and great accommodations. Check in was hassle-free and we appreciated the instructions for almost everything we had questions on! Could not recommend this home any more!

Everything was ready to go and check in was super easy. The house had everything we needed and provided a great space for a get together with old friends. Getting into town takes 20 minutes but that’s to be expected when you pick a place in the mountains.

The home is just beautiful, and it is in a secluded gorgeous setting. There are numerous hiking trails in the area, and we had a terrific time. The beds are super comfortable, the AC kept the house cool and comfortable and we loved the wrap-around patio. If you are going to be doing any cooking, you will need bring your own condiments, including salt, pepper etc., but the appliances are fantastic.

A couple of things that could use improvement:
1) The house had no house number on the outside so my guest were confused about which property to pull up at. The GPS tells you that you arrive before you actually do. It would be nice if they told you to turn at the Tea Mountain Resort sign and put a visible house number on the house.
2) The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. However, the house still needs updates. The fireplace wasn’t working. We had to call the owner and he was unable to fix it. The stoves were unusually slow to come to temperature. The water was scolding hot and I burned myself a couple of times at various sinks throughout the house. The toilets need plumbing repair. Unfortunately we had to call the owner in the middle of the night to fix a toilet that overflowed. The plungers were locked up and unavailable to house guests.
3) This is less of a big deal depending on how you feel about nature. The house was covered in ladybugs to the point where you had to shake your clothes out to make sure you weren’t carrying them home. Now I didn’t expect that in December but heck you are in the mountains.
Other than that my guests and I enjoyed our stay. We made lasting memories on my birthday weekend.
